Él es Charly, una centenaria tortuga macho Loggerhead/Caguama/cabezona (nombre científico Caretta Caretta) Charly recorre toda la extensión arrecifal del lado oeste de la Isla de Cozumel. Su nado es pesado y confiado. Su enorme cabeza es casi del volúmen de una pelota de basquetbol y mide aproximadamente 2 metros de largo desde el hocico hasta la punta de la cola y de ancho más de medio metro. Es un Gigante Bonachón, no busca pleitos con nadie, no se asusta de los buzos y come esponjas. Es tan viejo que hasta tiene corales en su concha!!!!

He is Charly, a hundred-year-old Loggerhead male turtle / Caguama / cabezona (scientific name Caretta Caretta) Charly travels the entire length of the reef on the west side of the Island of Cozumel. Its swim is heavy and confident. Its huge head is almost the volume of a basketball and measures approximately 2 meters (app 7 ft) long from the snout to the tip of the tail and over half a meter wide (app 2.5 ft). He is a Friendly Giant, he does not look for quarrels with anyone, he does not get scared of the divers and he eats sponges. He's so old, he even has corals in its shell !
